North Yemen: Front of 20-riyal note, showing Palace on the Rock. First issued 13 May 1971. The front has the text and border in purple intaglio printing, with blue lithographic printing dominating the vignette and three inner borders. A multicoloured lithographic underprint covers the rest of the note, with a small boss in the centre. Four million were issued.
