In a survey among doctors in Lebanon, 60% viewed homosexuality as a disease that needs medical assistance and 73% said it needs psychological counselling.
The findings are in one of two reports presented at a meetingorganised by Helem, the Lebanese LGBT organisation, last week. The other report is about homophobia in Lebanese universities. The reports themselves do not appear to be online but the Bekhsoos website gives some details.
