Hotels in Yemen
Hotels in Yemen are mostly of three types:
1. Luxury hotels, usually owned by big
companies, with facilities that meet international standards.
2. Hotels in traditional, architecturally
interesting buildings (such as the old part of Sanaa). These are
popular with individual travellers and tour groups, though their
facilities vary and may be somewhat limited.
3. Other hotels, usually small and frequented
by Yemenis and Arab visitors. Again, facilities tend to be limited
and they may be less accustomed to foreigners.
The hotels listed on this page are those with
websites. A more detailed list, including addresses and telephone
numbers of companies without websites, can be found here.
The Global
Hotel Index also lists a number of hotels in Yemen, and the A1tourism
website has a list of hotels in Aden.
The tripadvisor
website has information about hotels in Yemen, together with
comments from people who have stayed in them.
