UK Lawyers for Israel (UKLFI) is a lawfare organisation that sends out legalistic letters complaining about criticisms of Israel or expressions of support for the Palestinians.
One of its tactics is to demand the cancellation of pro-Palestinian events, hinting at legal action against the venue if they go ahead.
The targets of its frightening letters have included art galleries, a hospital, a cinema, a museum, a church, student unions, local councils and a football club.
UKLFI's purported aim is to promote good community relations and ensure the law is observed, but others see the effect as stifling free speech. Some openly accuse UKLFI of bullying and intimidation.
Here's a collection of blog posts about UKLFI's activities, mostly during the Gaza war that began in 2023.
